0830 callout for a suicidal subject in a rural area. We responded with one trailing and two cadaver teams. The subject had been last seen near his residence a month earlier and was reported missing by his family a week later. A trail lead from the residence to the north where buses run. We also searched the local greenbelts. The subject had attempted suicide by pills three times previously. We located nothing during this search. The subject was located as a John Doe in a Pierce County morgue having been located in 5 miles from the residence on 7/5/01. The local police did not have experience with this situation and learned quite a bit from our efforts. (52 hrs)

0245 callout for a missing 86 yo Alzheimer's patient in an urban area. We responded with two trailing and two airscent teams. The subject was located by Seattle Police prior to any teams entering the field. (13.5 hrs)

0800 start for a cadaver search in a rural area. This was a continuation of previous searches on a homicide case. We searched 10 acres of horse pasture and located no articles related to the suspect, nor the victim himself. (82.5 hrs)
