Little Si, North Bend
1600 callout for missing female on Little Si. We responded with 7 personnel. The subject had apparently committed suicide after jumping off the top. A SMR team located her body partly down a cliff. Both SMR and ESAR had adequate personnel to carryout the body, so we were released from the mission. (18 hrs)

Crosby Mtn
1400 callout to assist with a carryout on Crosby Mountain, Hwy 2. We responded with 5 personnel. The victim was traversing with his party after a particularly brutal scramble when he fell and was severly injured. As teams were heading his way, a NAVY Blackhawk team was able to locate and extricate the victim The teams met up with the remainder of the victim's party and bring them out safely. (41 hrs)

24-Mar-06
06-0765
Renton
0930 callout for missing 3 yo female in Renton. We responded with two trailing and one airscent teams, 9 personnel total. Mom and boyfriend left the house at 0500 while the subject was still in bed. Around 0545, mom called a neighbor who went to the apt and saw the subject still asleep in bed. Approx 0645, boyfriend returns home and finds subject not in apt. Trailing teams worked from the apartment and concluded the subject did not leave the area on foot (perhaps by car). The airscent team worked around the apartment complex as well as along the regular walking route to daycare. ESAR teams, canvassing the complex, learn from a neighbor that a child's voice was heard calling for mommy around 0630 hrs.

Around 1145 hrs, a phone message is picked up and it is learned that a person who was driving through the complex saw the subject wandering outside the subject's apartment. This person took the subject to her home in Kent and spent the morning with her. The SAR conclusion was that the trailing dogs correctly identified that the subject did not walk out of the complex and the ESAR canvassing learned the correct clues. (30.5 hrs)
